Sometimes we need to glue together a crack, but find it
hard to get glue in the area it needs to be. Here's a way:
Run a bead of glue across the top edge of the crack.
Take your shop vac and from the opposite side, put the
nozzle over the crack and move it along.
When you get beads of glue coming through the vacuum side,
you know the glue as reached all the way through.
Clamp and wipe up the excess glue. If the item is finished
already, wipe it off with a wet rag. If it's unfinished, let it get
rubbery and scrape off with an old chisel.
This works great for chair seats that are splt along the
partial length of the glue line.
