CAP Toy Project 2005

The Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is the capstone of the CWC's community service effort to build and donate toys to needy children.

As co-chairmen, Terry Elfers and John Leonardi wish to express their appreciation for members' continued support for the CWC's CAP Project.  This year the club donated a total of 590 toys.  WOW!!!  A great job again this year!  Terry & Pauline Elfers delivered the toys to the CAP office in Mt Vernon, Kentucky on November 15, 2005.  They were warmly received by Brenda Watts, and Rich Layer, who showed them around (see photo below).  This year their operation will provide Christmas to (900) families.  They were thrilled with the toys, and said they all look forward to see what the Woodworkers come up with every year.  They asked that God bless all the woodworkers who participated.

If you'd like more information on how you can contribute, contact Terry Elfers or John Leonardi.  See CWC Contacts

Here is a sampling of the 2005 toy donations.  Note these are mostly photos of individual toys.  In many cases there were dozens of each toy made ...
